Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer
Experience: 5–9 years in Information Security (min. 2 years in Azure Cloud Security)
Location: Trivandrum (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security, vulnerability, and penetration assessments with remediation planning
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents
  • Manage security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and DLP
  • Track Key Risk Indicators and recommend controls to close security gaps
  • Act as SME for cloud security and compliance
  • Support incident response, investigation, and recovery
  • Provide guidance across infrastructure (physical, virtual, code)
  • Review SOC2/vendor risks and support audits
  • Advise on secure architecture and cloud platform designs
  • Maintain automated workflows and security operations processes
  • Collaborate with teams on risk, IAM reviews, and regulatory compliance
  • Promote security-first culture across tech and business teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of security standards, SDLC, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • 3–4 years in cloud security; 2+ years in Azure (admin/developer roles preferred)
  • Experience with securing hybrid cloud environments
  • Hands-on with SIEM, intrusion prevention, WAFs, Web Gateways, vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, monitoring, and metric systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset


    Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools including SIEM, antivirus, intrusion prevention systems, and data leak prevention.
  • Strong ability to research, analyze, and provide technology recommendations, especially within the CACU context.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the capability to offer security oversight and guidance throughout.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven expertise in Azure Cloud Security, including secure deployment and monitoring of cloud environments.
  • Proficiency as an Azure Administrator or Developer with hands-on experience managing and securing cloud infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in both application security and network security technologies.
  • A mathematical and statistical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and draw data-driven conclusions.
